Much of modern medicine follows what I refer to as "the band-aid process", which looks something like this:
"If I find the owie, and quickly cover it up, it will feel better and go away! Voila!"
Though modern medicine has its place, suppressing disease through synthetic compounds typically causes worse and worse symptoms to surface in unexpected ways. Homeopathy invites dis-ease to the surface, so that it can resolve what the body is trying to release, and allow homeostasis to occur. This is the natural cycle of healing.
